This fun and flexible family project will guide your learning as you explore the polar ice and tundra biomes together.
Our ‘Let’s Explore…’ resources are designed to be used alongside other resources like books, documentaries and websites. The aim is to give learners the chance to develop the skills needed to answer their questions rather than simply offering a reading comprehension worksheet.
This learning journal contains around 40 pages that can be used several times to prompt learning. They suit a huge range of ages because the pages can be completed in a variety of ways depending on ability. My five year old son will draw and write simple words or I will write on his behalf. His 12 year old cousin will create tables, label diagrams and write a fact file.
Easy to print at home as most pages use minimal black ink. We put ours in a clear ring binder so that we can add our extra pages of collages, pictures, etc. easily.
Before purchasing this you may like to view the entire Let’s Explore Biomes BUNDLE as it offers the chance to explore tropical rainforests, deserts, polar ice and tundra, temperate broadleaf forests, northern coniferous forests, chaparral, temperate grasslands, high mountains and the savanna.
