Every time you learn about a person or an event just add a little information to your timeline. A picture, a few words or a quote to remind you why the date is significant.
Repeat this each time something of interest comes up in your learning. You can include anything from the day your favourite author was born to the date of a scientific discovery.
After a little while, this notebook will help you to connect all of the historical events and people and to recognise how they interact with each other.
